Just Eat Takeaway
Just Eat Takeaway moved into an office building in the former harbor district of Amsterdam and is equipped with unique accessible roof terraces. HofmanDujardin reimagined the use of a series of outdoor spaces and created designs for three distinctive areas.
The Orangery is the heart of Just Eat Takeaway. Visible from all surrounding office floors, it brings a wow factor to the area. An orange padel court adds to the vitality of the space, whilst organically shaped planters and seats encourage informal meetings.
Disctinctive outdoor spaces
Overlooking the IJ River, the Club is a sophisticated terrace designed for short breaks, lunches and drinks. A planted pergola with integrated lighting provides the bar area with an intimate character.

The flexible Field is imagined as a multipurpose space that is intentionally left clearer than the surrounding areas. An informal stage element adjacent to the open Field encourages its use for both sport and leisure activities, like yoga classes or karaoke nights. Together, the three areas connect the interior to the exterior and add vital and exciting dynamics to the office.
